Accountant

We are Sisco Jobs, a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. We are hiring for the position of Accountant in Abu Dhabi, UAE. We are seeking skilled and motivated accounting professionals with UAE experience and strong knowledge of VAT, taxation, audit requirements, financial reporting, and general accounting. Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
  
• Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities.
  
• Perform bank, ledger, vendor, and customer account reconciliations.
  
• Prepare periodic financial reports and supporting schedules.
  
• Maintain accounting records in accordance with UAE VAT and tax requirements.
  
• Support audit activities by preparing required financial records and documentation.
  
• Monitor general ledger entries and ensure accurate account classifications.
  
• Use Microsoft Excel and accounting systems for reporting, reconciliation, and financial analysis.
  

Required Skills

1. UAE VAT & Tax: Strong working knowledge of UAE VAT, taxation, and applicable accounting requirements.
   
2. AP/AR: Practical experience managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
   
3. Reconciliations: Ability to perform accurate bank, ledger, vendor, and customer reconciliations.
   
4. Financial Reporting: Experience preparing and maintaining financial reports and accounting records.
   
5. Excel & Accounting Systems: Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting software/systems.
   

Preferred Skills

• Arabic or Tagalog language skills.
  
• UAE audit documentation and compliance exposure.
  
• Ability to join immediately.
  

Work Experience Requirements

Candidates should have 2–5 years of accounting experience in the UAE. Experience should include AP/AR, reconciliations, financial reporting, general accounting, VAT, taxation, and audit-related requirements.

Education

• Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
