Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in managing and maintaining our client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving business growth. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for handling key client accounts, understanding their logistics needs, and offering tailored solutions. You will act as the primary point of contact for clients, fostering strong relationships and adapting strategies to meet their evolving requirements. This role requires excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of the logistics industry, and the ability to coordinate with different departments to deliver effective service management.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients in the logistics sector.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their logistics needs and preferences.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery to clients.
  • Identify new business opportunities within existing client accounts to drive revenue growth.
  • Ensure all client queries and issues are resolved promptly and to their satisfaction.
  • Monitor and report on client account performance and logistics KPIs regularly.
  • Coordinate with operations to optimize logistics processes and service efficiency.
  • Assist in developing customized logistics solutions and proposals for clients.
  • Conduct regular meetings with clients to review their account status and gather feedback.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends to provide expert logistics advice to clients.
  • Prepare and present reports on account status, forecasts, and market trends.
  • Support the billing process to ensure timely invoicing and accurate financial tracking.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in account management within the logistics industry.
  • Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management principles.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and growing client relationships.
  • Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights for clients.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Excel, Word).
