We are seeking an experienced Accounts Executive with strong knowledge of UAE accounting practices, VAT compliance, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accurate financial records, and support audits, payroll, and statutory requirements. Immediate joiners are preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
> Manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and UAE regulations.
> Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements, including Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, and related schedules.
> Handle invoice processing, monitor customer receivables, ensure timely vendor payments, and perform regular customer and supplier reconciliations.
> Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
> Perform bank, ledger, and account reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
> Record and reconcile intercompany transactions in a timely manner.
> Prepare monthly management reports for accounting and non-accounting departments for review and analysis.
> Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations, including VAT filing, documentation, and coordination during audits or inspections.
> Assist in internal and external audits by preparing schedules, supporting documents, and responding to audit queries.
> Support the payroll process, including verification of employee attendance, overtime, expense claims, and coordination with HR.
> Maintain proper documentation and filing systems for financial records and statutory requirements.
> Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders such as auditors, banks, and tax consultants.
> Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and financial controls.
Requirements & Qualifications:
* Minimum 5+ years of accounting experience in the UAE is mandatory.
* Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
* Proven experience working with accounting software and ERP systems.
* Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws and financial reporting standards.
* Good understanding of payroll processes and statutory compliance.
* High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
* Good communication and coordination skills.
* Immediate availability or short notice period preferred.
