Job Description

As an Account Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our accounting department by accurately and efficiently managing financial data. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks that help ensure the financial practices run smoothly and effectively. Your analytical and organizational skills will be crucial in assisting with maintaining detailed financial records, preparing reports, and offering insights into financial performance. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks promptly. You will work closely with accountants and other financial professionals to ensure compliance with all regulations and contribute to the company's financial health.


Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparation and maintenance of financial statements and reports.
  • Record and verify daily transactions accurately in financial systems.
  • Support the monthly and yearly close process with relevant data entry.
  • Help in maintaining and reconciling balance sheets and general ledgers.
  • Assist in analyzing financial data for discrepancies and verifying accuracy.
  • Handle and resolve discrepancies in financial entries, documentation, and reports.
  • Prepare and submit invoices, ensuring timely and accurate billing procedures.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and assist with audit preparation tasks.
  • Provide administrative support by managing the filing of financial documentation.
  • Update internal systems with financial data and maintain confidential records.
  • Support senior accountants in tracking and managing budgets and forecasts.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure thorough financial compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as an Account Assistant, Bookkeeper, or relevant role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially in Excel and accounting software.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking for accurate data management.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
