Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance of air conditioning systems, ensuring peak optimal performance.
• Diagnose causes of equipment breakdowns and provide detailed repair solutions.
• Install new air conditioning systems and ensure they meet client specifications.
• Operate and maintain a variety of testing and diagnostic equipment effectively.
• Provide guidance and advice to clients on system usage and maintenance practices.
• Identify and implement solutions to enhance system efficiency and reliability.
• Maintain accurate service records and produce detailed reports on work conducted.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, local codes, and health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to address complex issues and share technical knowledge.
• Respond to emergency service requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Evaluate and recommend system upgrades to improve energy efficiency and performance.
• Assist in training junior technicians through hands-on demonstrations and mentoring.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is strongly preferred.
• Proven experience as an AC Technician, with a strong service record.
• Solid understanding of electrical systems, circuits, and HVAC components.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical schematics.
• Valid certification in HVAC, with EPA certification as an asset.
• Excellent communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration.
• Physically fit with the ability to perform tasks in various environmental conditions.
• Strong problem-solving skills with an eye for detail and accuracy.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, if required.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license for client site visits.
