Responsibilities

• Install various heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems according to specifications.
• Conduct routine maintenance and preventive checks on HVACR systems and equipment.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems and appliances.
• Repair or replace defective equipment components using hand tools and power tools.
• Perform tests and adjust system controls to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
• Maintain detailed records of all work performed, including inspections and maintenance tasks.
• Collaborate with other technicians and builders to install and troubleshoot systems effectively.
• Identify system errors and recommend appropriate repair solutions for long-term reliability.
• Follow and adhere to all relevant safety regulations and company guidelines at all times.
• Provide customers with usage guidance and demonstrate system operations clearly.
• Stay updated with the latest developments and technologies in HVACR systems and practices.
• Manage inventory by ordering and maintaining necessary HVACR supplies and parts.

Requirements

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent education required.
• Certification in HVACR systems from an accredited technical program preferred.
• Proven experience as an AC Technician or similar role in the HVAC field.
• Strong knowledge of AC systems, components, and installation best practices.
• Excellent troubleshooting abilities with a focus on identifying and resolving issues.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for traveling to job sites.
• Good communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members.
