Job Description

We are seeking a highly qualified Rheumatologist to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and managing patients with a variety of rheumatic diseases, providing expert care and developing personalized treatment plans. This role demands a compassionate professional committed to advancing patient health and well-being through comprehensive rheumatologic care.

Responsibilities

  • Perform patient evaluations and diagnostic assessments for rheumatic conditions
  • Create and manage individualized treatment plans incorporating medication, therapy, and lifestyle modifications
  • Conduct interventional procedures such as joint injections and aspirations
  • Educate patients and families about disease processes, treatment options, and self-care strategies
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure holistic and coordinated patient management
  • Participate in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives
  • Maintain accurate and thorough medical documentation in compliance with legal standards
  • Provide empathetic patient care and support throughout treatment

Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
  • Board certification in Rheumatology
  • Active medical license to practice
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in rheumatology
  • Strong knowledge of autoimmune and musculoskeletal disorders
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with medical advancements
  • Proficiency in English is required; additional language skills are beneficial
