General Description

This role will be responsible for project execution as per contract requirements and project guidelines in an efficient and cost-effective manner, ensuring absolute conformance in consolidating system history reports on a weekly basis. The role is also accountable for ensuring that all project activities are accurately recorded in the Resource Management System. The position requires broad and extensive knowledge of project operations, site management, QHSE standards, and reporting procedures. The incumbent will plan, coordinate, and deliver project works from handover to closure in line with company policies and client expectations.

Key responsibilities: Project Operations and Delivery

  • Execute all operational works on multiple project sites simultaneously from handover through to project closure, including mobilization, procurement, installation, commissioning, monitoring, and demobilization.
  • Plan and execute all activities in accordance with the Method Statement, contracted scope, best practices, and client obligations. Report any variances to the Line Manager prior to execution.
  • Maintain complete and accurate site documentation, including:

 – Delivery Notes

 – Installation Reports

 – Start Reports

 – Damage Reports

 – Stop Reports

 – As-Built Drawings

 – Manpower Records

 – Daily Activity Reports

 – System History Reports

 – Toolbox Talks

  • Produce and submit the following reports to the Line Manager:

 – Project Status Report – Daily

 – Project Profitability Report – Weekly

 – Manpower Allocation / Requirements – Monthly

  • Generate ad hoc site reports as requested by the Line Manager.
  • Actively participate in client meetings on project progression and performance.
  • Participate in project review meetings with the Line Manager to support decision-making on performance, challenges, and resource utilization.
  • Ensure optimal use of assigned resources, preventing duplication of efforts.
  • Serve as the single point of contact for all site operation–related aspects for assigned projects.
  • Support the Line Manager with technical, engineering, and practical judgment throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and QHSE standards and monitor site conditions for any deviations.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with clients, subcontractors, staff, and third parties.

QHSE

  • Understand and adhere to the Company’s QHSE policies and procedures.
  • Promote safety targets and zero tolerance for unsafe practices or conditions.
  • Decline requests to perform unsafe work and immediately report potential hazards to the Safety Officer.
  • Review relevant project specifications before work commences and monitor all activities to ensure quality and accuracy as per company standards.
  • Notify the Line Manager of any defects, errors, or variations identified.
  • Ensure completion of all applicable quality checklists.

Cross-Functional Support / Training

  • Set direction and objectives for team members and ensure the achievement of their development plans.
  • Collaborate with internal project stakeholders to resolve contract, documentation, and execution risks.
  • Identify problems and opportunities, escalating critical issues to the Line Manager.
  • Assist the Line Manager in preparing a six-month rolling manpower plan and justify resource requirements.
  • Ensure timely submission of all necessary data, records, and reports for monthly project billing.

Qualification Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent from an internationally recognized university.
  • Postgraduate study in Surveying, Engineering, or MRICS certification is an asset.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of related work experience in construction or engineering industries with high operational activity.
  • Knowledge in Groundwater Control is required.
  • Proven experience in supervising multiple construction projects.
  • Experience in operational procedures, client relations, and service provider negotiations.
  • Strong ability to set priorities, delegate tasks, and guide personnel at multiple sites.
  • Keen analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills to support effective decision-making.
  • Excellent team collaboration and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Persuasive negotiation and consensus-building abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Valid driving license (if applicable).
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with flexibility in working hours.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work independently and complete tasks on time.
