Maintenance Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Regional Technical Services and Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance operations, technical services, and infrastructure management across multiple sites.

The role is responsible for ensuring operational reliability, leading technical teams, supervising infrastructure improvement projects, and optimizing maintenance strategies, resources, and budgets in line with organizational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee technical services, maintenance operations, and infrastructure management across multiple sites.
• Develop and implement preventive, corrective, and structural maintenance strategies to ensure operational efficiency and asset reliability.
• Provide technical guidance and support to site management and maintenance teams on infrastructure, equipment, and facility-related matters.
• Oversee the maintenance and development of buildings, utilities, machinery, vehicles, and other operational assets.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise construction, renovation, and infrastructure improvement projects, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, budgets, and timelines.
• Establish and monitor maintenance procedures, operational standards, and performance indicators across sites.
• Lead, develop, and evaluate technical teams, ensuring effective resource allocation and consistent working practices.
• Prepare and manage departmental budgets, procurement plans, and maintenance expenditures.
• Oversee contractors, suppliers, and external service providers, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
• Conduct technical assessments, infrastructure inspections, and risk evaluations to identify improvement opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and organizational standards across all technical operations.
• Prepare technical reports, monitor departmental performance, and provide recommendations to senior management.

Requirements:

• Technical degree, diploma, or relevant professional qualification in Engineering, Maintenance Management, Facilities Management, or a related technical discipline.
• More than 15 years of relevant experience in technical services, maintenance, infrastructure, or facilities management.
• Proven experience managing multidisciplinary technical teams and maintenance operations across multiple sites.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, utilities, mechanical and electrical equipment, and infrastructure maintenance.
• Demonstrated experience in preventive and corrective maintenance planning, asset management, and operational improvement.
• Experience supervising construction, renovation, and infrastructure development projects.
• Strong capabilities in budgeting, procurement, contractor management, and cost optimization.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate effectively with operational teams and senior management.
• Strong understanding of HSE regulations and technical compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and technical reporting.
• Fluency in both English and French.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience managing technical operations across geographically dispersed or remote sites.
• Background in large-scale operational facilities, industrial environments, or specialized infrastructure.
• Familiarity with SCADA, Building Management Systems (BMS), or Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Experience implementing maintenance performance indicators, asset lifecycle planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Knowledge of technical tender preparation, contractor evaluation, and infrastructure project commissioning.
• Proficiency in Arabic or Russian.
