Machine Operator

To safely and efficiently prepare, blast, prime, and coat components according to approved procedures and quality specifications, ensuring proper surface preparation, coating thickness, adhesion, and finish while meeting production targets. The operator is responsible for correct equipment operation, material handling, process-parameter monitoring, inspection, housekeeping, and compliance with HSE and quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Function as the operator for Prime / Coating / blasting station. 

• Perform Prime, Coating (powder / liquid), Blast application as Per the NOV Tuboscope Standard Operating Procedure.

• Verify through visual inspection that the pipes are suitable for coating.

• Perform necessary qualification test by the use quality control gauges to verify that the pipes meet the SOP.

• Inform the Coating Plant Supervisor or his designee if any disturbance or irregularities in the production flow occurs.

• Records Daily Production Reports, Quality Assurance/Control Reports, and all necessary Reports regarding operation

• Follow all the Company HSEMS, QMS, policies and procedures

• Perform other duties that maybe assigned by the Plant Manager or his designee

Qualifications

Technical Diploma / Relevant Vocational/Training certificate is preferred and considered an advantage.
