Landscape Design Manager

Abu Dhabi, UAE

Parsons is seeking a highly talented Landscape Design Manager to join our team in Abu Dhabi. In this role, you will lead the development of complex landscape design solutions, utilizing both theoretical and practical expertise to deliver high-quality designs that meet company standards, industry codes, and project requirements.

What You’ll Be Doing

• You will lead and oversee the preparation of complex landscape design drawings and CAD deliverables.
• You will apply advanced design principles, technical knowledge, and industry best practices to develop innovative landscape solutions.
• You will ensure compliance with applicable standards, codes, sustainability guidelines, and company procedures.
• You will manage and coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, and external consultants.
• You will review and approve design layouts, technical drawings (2D and 3D), and project documentation.
• You will develop alternative design concepts and solutions to meet project constraints and client requirements.
• You will ensure all designs meet safety, quality, and regulatory requirements, including local authority approvals in Abu Dhabi.
• You will review supplier and manufacturer data, materials, and shop drawings for accuracy and compliance.
• You will oversee quality control processes and perform design checks in line with project standards.
• You will mentor and guide junior designers and team members, supporting their technical development.
• You will participate in client meetings, presentations, and design reviews.
• You will support project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery.
• You will contribute to sustainable and environmentally responsible landscape design practices.
  
  
  

What Required Skills You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Architecture, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 8+ years of relevant experience in landscape design, with leadership responsibilities.
• Strong proficiency in CAD and landscape design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite).
• Solid understanding of regional design standards, codes, and regulations (UAE experience preferred).
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
  
  
  

What Desired Skills You’ll Bring

• Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture or a related discipline.
• Professional accreditation or membership (e.g., chartered status or equivalent).
• Experience with BIM workflows and digital design tools.
• Strong design portfolio demonstrating creative and sustainable landscape solutions.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of sustainable design practices, including water-sensitive design and native planting strategies.
• Experience working on large-scale infrastructure, urban development, or public realm projects in the Middle East.
