INNOVATION Consultant

Salary: USD 10K per month

Location: Riyadh, KSA (on-site, client-embedded)
Engagement: Fixed term 12 months contract | ~6 months, extendable
Level: Consultant / Senior Consultant (3+ years of experience)

About the Role:

The Innovation consultant will be embedded within the Innovation Office of a leading KSA bank, supporting the operationalization of its R&D function across four key areas: executive reporting, innovation agenda-setting, market intelligence, and capability building. The consultant will report directly into Bank’s Head of Innovation Office (Deputy CEO -1)

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain structured reporting mechanisms for senior and C-level stakeholders (e.g. Innovation SteerCo) 

  • Support setting and alignment of the bank's innovation agenda between IO and business units

  • Conduct trend scanning and deliver benchmarks, competitive analysis, and global best practices reports on priority topics/themes (e.g. Digital Banking / GenAI, Fintech / BNPL / Embedded Finance)

  • Contribute to formalizing the Innovation Office's research and planning function

  • Support knowledge transfer and capability building within the internal innovation team.

  Candidate Profile

  • 3+ years in management consulting, in-house strategy function of a bank / fintech / venture capital firm

  • Strong background in market research, industry analysis, and benchmarking

  • Understanding of key financial services, technology and Digital trends

  • Able to produce clear, executive-ready deliverables and operate independently on-site

  • Arabic speaker strongly preferred

  • Prior GCC/KSA experience is an advantage
