Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Head Chef to lead our culinary operations. This role requires a strong leader with exceptional creativity, operational excellence, and proven expertise in international cuisine. The Head Chef will oversee menu creation, kitchen performance, food quality, cost control, and team development, ensuring an exceptional dining experience aligned with the hotel’s brand standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3- 5 years of progressive experience in senior culinary leadership roles within luxury lifestyle hotels or high-end, concept-driven restaurants.
• Proven expertise in international cuisine, with the ability to reinterpret global flavors through a contemporary, locally inspired lens.
• Demonstrated passion for innovation, experimentation, and storytelling through food, creating unique dining experiences that reflect the destination’s culture and Andaz’s distinctive style.
• Strong, hands-on leadership approach with the ability to inspire, mentor, and empower a diverse culinary team while fostering a collaborative and creative kitchen environment.
• Deep understanding of food safety standards, HACCP, and efficient kitchen operations, balanced with a focus on quality, sustainability, and responsible sourcing.
• Exceptional communication, adaptability, and problem-solving skills, with a natural flair for creativity and attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, consistently delivering high-quality, innovative culinary offerings while embracing change and new ideas.
