Fabricator

We are looking for Metal Fabricators who can read drawings, measures, cuts, bends and assembles extruded and bended thin metal profiles into frames and components of metal doors.

Skills & Expertise required:

• Read & understand Workorder and drawings provided.
• Precisely measure & mark the sheet metal for bending and bended profiles for cutting.
• Make necessary templates jigs and fixtures that are necessary to make the repetitive jobs easier & faster.
• Perform mitre cutting and bevel cutting on bended steel profiles using machine and hand tools & prepare the cut edges to precise specifications to match properly so that the joints can be welded smoothly.
• Finish the welded area by grinding, buffing and final polishing.
• Carry out quality checks on the work carried out by using set-squares, levels and other measuring tools to confirm that all parts are manufactured to specifications.
• Follow the safety procedures and protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Must have good stamina and ability to perform physical labour, including standing for prolonged periods.
