Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Engineering Supervisor to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. As an Engineering Supervisor, you will play a role in overseeing and coordinating engineering activities, ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of our facilities and equipment.

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technicians, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all equipment and systems
• Oversee the installation, repair, and inspection of facilities and equipment to ensure compliance with local regulations and company standards
• Analyze and improve engineering processes to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely completion of projects and maintenance tasks
• Conduct regular inspections of work areas, plant rooms, and equipment to identify and address potential hazards
• Create and maintain accurate documentation of all engineering activities, including shift reports and project updates
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to protect employees and guests
• Manage vendor relationships and oversee the procurement of necessary tools and supplies
• Provide on-the-job training opportunities for team members to develop their skills and promote multitasking abilities
• Participate in emergency response procedures and ensure team readiness for various scenarios
• Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements to drive continuous improvement in engineering operations
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field)
• Minimum of two years experience in a similar supervisory role, preferably in the hospitality industry
• Proven track record in leading engineering operations and improving operational efficiency
• Strong knowledge of engineering processes, system design, and maintenance best practices
• Excellent leadership and team development skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor staff
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a detail-oriented approach
• Proficiency in engineering software and tools relevant to facility management
• Solid understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards in the UAE
• Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively
• Experience in project management and strategic planning
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
