Crane Operator

Position: Crane Operator

Location : Abu Dhabi

Salary : 5700 AED

Rotation : 90/30

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate various types of cranes, such as mobile, tower, and overhead cranes, to lift and move heavy equipment and materials on oil and gas sites
• Conduct pre-operational checks and inspections of the crane to ensure it is in safe and working condition
• Communicate with site supervisors and other team members to determine the best approach for lifting and moving materials
• Rig and secure loads to the crane using appropriate techniques and equipment
• Monitor and maintain the cranes stability and safe operation during lifting and moving activities
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the safety of yourself and others on the job site
• Keep accurate records of crane operations, including load weights, times, and any incidents or issues that may arise
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on the crane as needed
• Train and supervise new crane operators as required
  
  
  

• High secondary diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years of experience operating cranes in an oil and gas environment
• Valid crane operator certification and license
• Knowledge of crane safety procedures and regulations
• Ability to read and interpret load charts and blueprints
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions
• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written
• Experience operating other heavy equipment, such as forklifts and bulldozers, is an asset
