Role Purpose

The Landscape Construction Manager is responsible for planning, managing, and executing all landscape construction activities for high-rise buildings, hotels, and community projects. The role ensures that all softscape, hardscape, and irrigation works are completed in accordance with project specifications, approved drawings, quality standards, and scheduled timeframe. The position requires strong technical knowledge, site coordination, subcontractor management, and problem-solving skills.

Key Accountabilities

  • Prepare, review, and update shop drawings, as-builts, and coordination drawings.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications and authority requirements.
  • Coordinate with CAD draftsmen on hardscape, softscape, irrigation, and grading drawings.
  • Prepare and review material submittals, method statements, and technical proposals.
  • Verify material compliance prior to procurement and coordinate with suppliers for technical data.
  • Provide technical assistance to site teams during landscape installation.
  • Inspect works for compliance with approved drawings and resolve technical issues.
  • Prepare and review irrigation layouts, drawings, and hydraulic calculations.
  • Coordinate with suppliers on irrigation system components.
  • Participate in technical meetings and follow up on consultant comments.
  • Maintain logs of drawings, submittals, RFIs, and approvals.
  • Prepare technical reports, maintain project records, and support O&M and handover documentation.
  • Assist in preparing weekly/monthly progress reports.

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills

  • Bachelor’s in Landscape Architecture, Civil/Agriculture Engineering, or related field.
  • 3–5 years landscape construction/design experience (GCC preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of softscape, hardscape, materials, and irrigation systems.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and design software.
  • Strong documentation, communication, and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Solid knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
