Our client is a well-established Abu Dhabi-based organisation undergoing an exciting period of growth and transformation.As part of its ongoing evolution, the organisation is seeking an experienced communications leader to shape and deliver a strategic communications agenda that supports employee engagement, stakeholder relationships and organisational objectives.
Job Description
The Head of Communications will be responsible for leading the organisation's communications strategy and developing a modern, scalable communications function aligned to business objectives.Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute integrated internal and external communications strategies.
- Partner with executive leadership to support organisational growth and transformation initiatives.
- Lead employee engagement, change communications and leadership communications programmes.
- Oversee corporate communications, brand management and reputation management activities.
- Establish communications governance, frameworks and best practices across the organisation.
- Develop compelling content, narratives and messaging that support strategic priorities.
- Manage agency relationships and communications partners.
- Lead and develop a high-performing communications team.
- Monitor communications effectiveness and identify opportunities to enhance stakeholder engagement.
- Act as a trusted communications advisor to senior leadership.
The successful candidate will be an experienced communications leader with a proven track record of building, transforming or enhancing communications functions within complex organisations.You will demonstrate:
- 12+ years of communications experience with leadership responsibility.
- Experience leading both internal and external communications functions.
- Proven success supporting organisational growth, business transformation or change programmes.
- Strong executive stakeholder management and influencing capability.
- Experience developing communications governance, frameworks and operating models.
- Team leadership experience with responsibility for developing communications capability.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Opportunity to lead a strategically important communications function during a period of significant growth.
- High-profile role with direct exposure to executive leadership.
- Significant scope to influence organisational transformation and stakeholder engagement.
