Chief Engineer

As a Chief Engineer, you are responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotel's engineering and maintenance operations. Your role involves strategic planning, implementation of maintenance programs, and ensuring the efficient functioning of all facilities. Key Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive engineering and maintenance strategies to ensure the effective operation of the hotel's physical infrastructure.
• Supervise and lead a team of engineers and technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime and extend the lifespan of facilities and systems.
• Oversee the repair and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other systems in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
• Manage the budget for the engineering department, controlling costs, and allocating resources efficiently.
• Collaborate with other departments to address their technical needs and provide support for various events and activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations, implementing measures to promote a safe working environment.
• Evaluate and recommend upgrades or improvements to the hotel's infrastructure to enhance energy efficiency and sustainability.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations and implement corrective actions to minimize disruptions to hotel operations.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment, repairs, and maintenance activities for reporting and auditing purposes.
