Job Description

A PMS (Power Management System) Engineer is critical in ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of electrical power systems within various industries, including manufacturing, utilities, and data centers. The primary focus of this role is to design, implement, and maintain power management systems that monitor and control energy usage to optimize performance and ensure sustainability. The PMS Engineer works closely with other engineering professionals to integrate power management solutions with existing systems and collaborate on innovative approaches to energy management. This position requires a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, hands-on experience with PMS technologies, and the ability to troubleshoot complex power system issues effectively.


Responsibilities

  • Design and implement efficient Power Management Systems to optimize energy usage.
  • Monitor and analyze power system performance to ensure reliability and sustainability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate PMS with existing infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for system design, operation, and maintenance.
  • Conduct regular inspections and diagnostics of power systems to identify issues.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for power management system malfunctions.
  • Evaluate and recommend upgrades and improvements to existing power systems.
  • Train and support staff in the use and maintenance of Power Management Systems.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all power solutions.
  • Participate in the planning and implementation of energy-saving initiatives.
  • Prepare and present reports on power system performance and efficiency measures.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in power management technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required.
  • Proven experience in designing and managing power management systems effectively.
  • Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and energy management techniques.
  • Experience with power distribution, control systems, and related technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements is preferred.
