Job Description

A Logistic Coordinator plays a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of supply chain operations. This role involves coordinating and managing the transportation and storage of goods, overseeing the distribution process, and liaising with various departments and external partners. The Logistic Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that all logistics processes are compliant with company policies and legal regulations. They work diligently to ensure timely delivery by planning and monitoring inbound and outbound deliveries, managing inventory levels, and handling customer inquiries and complaints. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee logistics and supply chain operations efficiently.
  • Manage and monitor the transportation and delivery of goods timely.
  • Liaise with suppliers and vendors to ensure optimal service levels.
  • Organize and manage inventory, ensuring all stocks are accounted for.
  • Prepare and update status reports on deliveries and logistics activities.
  • Work closely with the warehouse team to streamline operations.
  • Maintain accurate records, logs, and databases for all logistics activities.
  • Identify and resolve any logistics issues that arise in real-time.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental and governmental regulations.
  • Maintain cost-effective strategies to optimize logistics operations.
  • Develop relationships with carriers and negotiate contracts when needed.
  • Assist in planning and implementing logistics strategies efficiently.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least two years of experience in logistics coordination or similar roles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, are essential.
  • Proficient in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines regularly.
  • Knowledge of customs regulations and transportation cost management.
