IT Coordinator/System Admin (225-1010)

Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain the organization’s IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance.
• Provide first-level technical support to staff and troubleshoot hardware or software issues.
• Coordinate IT projects, including system updates, upgrades, and maintenance activities.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access to systems and products effectively.
• Monitor network performance and optimize the system for efficiency and security.
• Implement and enforce IT policies and procedures to ensure data security and compliance.
• Maintain an inventory of IT hardware and software, and oversee asset management.
• Assist in the development and implementation of backup and disaster recovery protocols.
• Provide training and support to staff on various software and hardware usage.
• Work collaboratively with vendors to resolve technical issues and procure IT assets.
• Generate technical documentation and reports to track IT system performance and issues.
• Continuously explore and recommend new technologies to enhance business processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a system administration or IT support role preferred.
• Strong knowledge of networking, IT systems, and IT infrastructure management.
• Proficiency in managing Windows/Linux servers and system operations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex IT issues.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with non-technical users.
• Familiarity with cloud computing services and virtual environments is advantageous.
