Job Description

The Financial Controller & Reporting Manager plays a crucial role in the financial health of a company by managing financial reporting, accounting, and financial analysis functions. This position is responsible for creating and implementing financial policies and strategies to ensure sound financial management and reporting within the organization. The Financial Controller & Reporting Manager is crucial in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of the financial statements with relevant standards and regulations. Additionally, this role involves leading a team of accountants and finance professionals to drive efficiency and improve financial processes. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of financial principles, combining these skills with excellent leadership and communication abilities.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee preparation and presentation of accurate financial statements and reports for senior management.
  • Develop and implement financial policies to ensure sound financial management and compliance.
  • Manage budgeting and forecasting activities, providing strategic financial insight and analysis.
  • Lead and mentor a team of accountants to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with international accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits and address any identified financial issues promptly.
  • Analyze complex financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
  • Oversee cash flow management to ensure proper allocation and optimization of resources.
  • Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement cost-saving initiatives.
  • Monitor financial processes and systems for efficiency and recommend improvements.
  • Communicate financial results and strategies to stakeholders in a clear manner.
  • Prepare reports on financial performance against forecasts, budgets, and benchmarks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial reporting or accounting roles.
  • Strong knowledge of international GAAP and financial reporting standards.
  • Proven leadership experience with excellent interpersonal and team management skills.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems, such as SAP or Oracle.
  • Strong communication skills to present financial insights to non-financial stakeholders.
