Field Service Engineer (Telecom) (225-1015)

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer for our telecom division to join our dynamic team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of telecom equipment at various customer sites. You will play a critical role in ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of service and support. Responsibilities

• Install, test, and maintain telecom equipment including routers, switches, and servers.
• Diagnose and repair hardware and software issues in a timely manner.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on telecom systems.
• Travel to customer sites to provide technical support and training.
• Collaborate with customers to understand and address their telecom needs.
• Document all service activities and maintain accurate service records.
• Work closely with the engineering team to improve service delivery processes.
• Provide feedback to product development teams based on customer interactions.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations at all times.
• Manage and prioritize service requests to optimize customer satisfaction.
• Assist in the development and implementation of new telecom solutions.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging telecom technologies and trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a telecommunications field service role.
• Strong technical knowledge of telecom systems and equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Effective communication skills to liaise with clients and internal teams.
• Willingness to travel frequently and work flexible hours as needed.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate service vehicles safely.
