Job Description

The Food and Beverage (F&B) Team Lead plays a crucial role in the hospitality and dining industry by overseeing the daily operations of F&B outlets. The position requires an individual with exceptional leadership skills, a keen understanding of customer service, and an ability to manage a team effectively. As an F&B Team Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality and service delivery while optimizing operational efficiencies. You will also be tasked with creating a dynamic and welcoming atmosphere in which both customers and staff feel valued and appreciated. Your proactive approach to problem-solving, strategic planning skills, and your ability to develop and mentor team members will contribute to the success of the F&B operations.


Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the F&B service staff daily.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and hygiene regulations within the establishment.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction regularly and address any issues or complaints promptly.
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient food service delivery.
  • Oversee inventory management, ordering processes, and supplies maintenance efficiently.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for staff to enhance service skills.
  • Conduct regular inspections of dining areas to maintain cleanliness and aesthetics.
  • Plan and implement promotional events and special offers to boost sales.
  • Prepare reports on sales, customer feedback, and team performance periodically.
  • Manage staff schedules to ensure optimal levels of staffing and resources.
  • Collaborate with management to develop strategies to enhance service offerings.
  • Facilitate effective communication between kitchen staff, service staff, and management.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within the F&B industry.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to manage and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and staff.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations is required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with capacity to handle customer service challenges.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
