Job Description

As an Assistant Manager in Risk & Compliance, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our organization operates within the established regulatory framework and follows best practices to mitigate risks. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement effective risk management strategies and compliance programs that align with organizational goals. Your role will involve monitoring, evaluating, and reporting on the effectiveness of these strategies while ensuring the organization adheres to both internal and external requirements. Your expertise will be invaluable in maintaining a robust risk management and compliance culture and you will be instrumental in driving initiatives that protect the company’s reputation and assets. We are seeking a professional who can communicate effectively, manage multiple projects efficiently, and contribute to continuous improvement in risk and compliance measures.


Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and implementing risk management and compliance strategies.
  • Evaluate existing risk management policies and procedures for effectiveness.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on risk assessments and compliance activities.
  • Monitor changes in regulations and assess their impact on organizational policies.
  • Conduct risk assessments and identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability.
  • Support the development of training programs on risk mitigation and compliance.
  • Collaborate with internal audit to ensure compliance with internal controls.
  • Advise management on potential risks and recommend prevention strategies.
  • Coordinate responses to regulatory inquiries and audits as required.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of all compliance and risk management activities.
  • Assist in the development and monitoring of risk and compliance KPIs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in risk management or compliance roles.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory guidelines and risk management practices.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across all levels.
  • Experience with compliance management software tools is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement initiatives.
