Construction Manager (225-719)

A Construction Manager plays a critical role in overseeing and managing construction projects from inception to completion. This position is typically prevalent in the construction industry, where the manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, budgeting, and supervising construction projects for various types of structures, including residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Responsibilities

• Oversee all stages of construction project management from initial planning through project completion.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure efficient resource allocation.
• Coordinate and manage various contractors and subcontractors involved in the project.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure construction activities comply with building regulations and safety standards.
• Address and resolve any project design, technical, or construction issues that arise.
• Ensure project documentation, permits, and regulatory approvals are completed accurately and timely.
• Monitor progress of construction projects and make adjustments as necessary to ensure timely completion.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure design and construction align.
• Manage and oversee financials, including budget forecasting, cost control, and financial reporting.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all site personnel.
• Facilitate communication between stakeholders to maintain project alignment and progress transparency.
• Lead negotiation and procurement of materials and resources necessary for construction activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a construction management or similar role required.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Proven experience managing large-scale construction projects from start to finish.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and time-management skills to manage multiple priorities.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities with aptitude to address complex technical issues efficiently.
• Proficient in project management software and tools such as Microsoft Project and AutoCAD.
