Job Description

The role of a Store Manager is a critical position that requires leadership, strategic planning, and the ability to drive sales and customer satisfaction. As a Store Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the store, ensuring that all processes run smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for managing staff, maintaining high levels of customer service, adhering to company policies, and achieving the financial goals of the store. Your role will also involve managing inventory, optimizing sales performance, and fostering a motivating and positive working environment. As a liaison between the staff and the company management, you must effectively communicate and implement company initiatives and directives.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the store to ensure efficiency and performance.
  • Develop and implement plans to achieve sales targets and improve profitability.
  • Manage, train, and motivate staff to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Maintain store inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and availability of products.
  • Implement store policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback effectively and professionally.
  • Ensure that the store environment is clean, safe, and visually appealing.
  • Coordinate promotional activities and campaigns to boost store visibility and sales.
  • Prepare and manage store budgets, adhering to financial targets and constraints.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with suppliers and contractors.
  • Lead by example in all interactions with staff, customers, and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience in a managerial position within a retail environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with a positive attitude.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with staff and customers.
  • Ability to analyze statistical data and make informed business decisions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in using retail management software and MS Office Suite.
