Key Responsibilities
- Act as the key point of quality contact for supplier quality issues, supplier audit, quality continue improvement activities, quality related specifications including Foundry, Assembly, and Test sites.
- Monitor supplier performance and execute periodic supplier KPI reporting, including planning, coordinating, and executing the supplier audits, and Maintain supplier quality databases, such as KPI, supplier issues, and audit activities.
- Provide leadership to suppliers and internal teams in resolving complex internal or customer-impacted product/process quality issues by utilizing Quality Tools like 8D approach. Serve as a primary escalation point for supplier-related quality issues and drive action plans for resolution.
- Lead the MRB (Material Review Board) for supplier quality issues and work with relevant internal/external stakeholders for material risk assessment and drive action closure.
- Provide Quality inputs to relevant business processes, such as business reviews and supplier selection.
- Develop and implement quality controls to ensure that products and services from suppliers meet relevant performance and quality standards according to company procedures, best industry practices, and customer expectations. Specific tasks include the creation and review of quality specifications and driving compliance via regular audits.
- Plan, create, and execute quality improvement programs for suppliers to support business needs.
- Support in various processes like customer audits, change management etc.
Key Qualifications
- Minimum bachelors degree in engineering or relevant fields like material science or physics.
- Several years of engineering experience in the semiconductor industry
- Experience in the factory manufacturing and quality system. Ex. MES, CAB, SPC, OCAP, MSA, MRB.
- Knowledge of quality tools and methodology, such as, but not limited to, 8D, Control Plan, OCAP, and SPC, FMEA, etc.
- Fluent in English (both oral and written), with the ability to write quality documents or specifications.
- Can travel within Taiwan and Asia region as needed
