A teacher for Secondary school

to teach: INTEGRATED SCIENCES in EN and DE

8 teaching hours per week

One-year contract (01.09.2026 – 31.08.2027)

The European School of Karlsruhe offers education to approx. 1000 pupils, in three linguistic sections (DE, EN, FR), from 4-18 years. We require for the Secondary school a teacher for Integrated sciences in English (S1 class – 4 teaching hours per week – link to the syllabus) and in German (S2 class – 4 teaching hours per week – link to the syllabus).

Applicants must be qualified to teach this subject and be fluent in German and English. The position consists of 8 teaching hours (8 x 45 minutes – full-time = 21 teaching hours).

The successful candidate will be working under the authority of the Director of the European School, in a multi-lingual, multi-cultural environment, in a school with an outstanding academic record. The European Schools are official educational establishments controlled jointly by the governments of the Member States of the European Union. In all these countries they are legally regarded as public institutions. There are currently 13 European Schools in 6 countries. Die Europäische Schule Karlsruhe unterrichtet ca. 1000 Schüler in drei Sprachabteilungen (DE, EN, FR) im Alter von 4-18 Jahren. Wir suchen eine Lehrkraft für die Oberschule ab 01.09.2026 bis zum Ende des Schuljahres (8 Unterrichtsstunden) für Integrierte Naturwissenschaften auf Englisch (S1 Klasse – 4 Unterrichtsstunden pro Woche – Link zum Lehrplan) und auf Deutsch (S2 Klasse – 4 Unterrichtsstunden pro Woche – Link zum Lehrplan).

Die Bewerber müssen über eine Lehrbefähigung für dieses Fach verfügen und fließend Deutsch und Englisch sprechen. Die Stelle umfasst 8 Unterrichtsstunden (8 x 45 Minuten – Vollzeit = 21 Stunden).
