Role Overview

The Livestream Moderator plays a critical role in ensuring smooth, high-quality livestream execution across eCommerce platforms. This role is responsible for on-site livestream operations, host coordination, real-time issue management, and performance optimization to deliver consistent livestream excellence for clients and brands.

Key Responsibilities

• Livestream Operations & Execution
• Set up, operate, and manage livestream sessions across platforms such as TikTok Shop, Shopee, Lazada, and brand.com.
• Ensure livestream readiness including OBS setup, camera framing, audio quality, lighting, overlays, product pinning, and platform compliance.
• Monitor livestreams in real time to ensure smooth flow, accurate product information, and engaging audience interaction.
• Troubleshoot technical issues involving cameras, microphones, internet connectivity, software, or platform tools during live sessions.
• Coordinate closely with clients, account managers, and internal teams to align on visuals, promotions, talking points, and livestream objectives.
• Livestream Host Management
• Support livestream hosts before, during, and after live sessions to ensure confident and professional delivery.
• Manage host scheduling based on confirmed livestream slots, campaigns, and client priorities.
• Assist in sourcing, evaluating, and onboarding new hosts aligned with brand tone, product category, and performance expectations.
• Ensure hosts follow livestream SOPs, scripts, product guidelines, and platform best practices.
• Livestream Performance & Analytics
• Track livestream and host performance metrics such as GMV, engagement rate, conversion, and average watch time.
• Conduct weekly performance reviews to identify gaps, optimisation opportunities, and best-performing host strategies.
• Share actionable insights and recommendations to improve livestream quality, audience engagement, and sales performance.
• Documentation & Administrative Support
• Guide hosts through onboarding processes including documentation, contracts, and platform requirements.
• Coordinate host contracts, payment tracking, attendance records, and replacement or off-day claims.
• Maintain accurate records for livestream schedules, host assignments, and performance tracking.
  
  

• Livestream & Social Commerce Experience
• Hands-on experience managing end-to-end livestream operations.
• Experience sourcing, coordinating, or managing livestream hosts or creators is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with affiliate or social commerce models is preferred.
• Communication & Coordination Skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with hosts, clients, and internal stakeholders under live conditions.
• Confident in providing real-time guidance and feedback to hosts.
• Technical & Operational Skills
• Familiarity with eCommerce platform livestream studio & features, OBS, livestreaming tools, and basic audio-visual equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues quickly during live sessions.
• Comfortable working on-site and during evening, weekend, or campaign livestream hours.
• Analytical & Improvement Mindset
• Able to interpret performance data and translate insights into actionable improvements.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality, consistency, and operational excellence.
• Adaptability & Industry Awareness
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure livestream environment.
• Keeps up with platform updates, livestream trends, and best practices across TikTok, Shopee, and Lazada.

• Setup readiness: All livestream setups completed and tested before go-live.
