A Day in the Life as a Business Install Scheduling Specialist
A Business Install Scheduling Specialist plays an essential role in supporting our rapidly growing volume of business customer sales. They serve as the dedicated coordinator for new business installs, ensuring efficiency for both our customers and our internal sales and operations teams.
Throughout the day, you will act as the bridge between our business clients and field teams, managing complex scheduling needs including discoveries, installs, and reschedules. By collaborating closely with Sales and Operations, you ensure that every step of the business installation journey is professional, immediate, and high-quality.
Location:
This role may be remote or hybrid with occasional travel to Buhler as needed to meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities Include
Coordinate and manage the scheduling of fiber installations specifically for business customers.
Manage and maintain multiple calendars, ensuring they are current, accurate, and accessible to all relevant parties.
Handle scheduling changes and cancellations by proactively communicating updates and confirming new times with all stakeholders.
Work with Sales and Operations to ensure scheduling aligns with project milestones, discovery needs, and sales objectives.
Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts and communicate to find mutually acceptable solutions.
Establish and maintain standardized scheduling protocol.
Set reminders and follow-ups to ensure customers and internal teams are notified of crucial installation information.
What Were Looking For
To be considered for this role, youll need the following required qualifications:
2+ years of relevant work experience in scheduling, dispatch, or project coordination roles.
Outstanding communication skills, with a knack for active listening and professional problem resolution.
Strong critical thinking skills used to analyze complex scheduling scenarios and implement effective solutions.
Experience working in a fast-paced environment, ideally handling high-volume coordination or customer-facing tasks.
What Will Help You Stand Out
Previous experience in the telecommunications industry (wireless/fiber).
Familiarity with scheduling software or CRM systems.
Experience specifically coordinating B2B (Business to Business) services or installations.
