Hospitality and Outdoor – New Vacancy – Finance Administrator

Luxury Lodge Group – Cape Town – Western Cape

We are seeking a reliable and detail-driven Finance Administrator to support the financial and administrative operations of a hospitality property based in Cape Town, Western Cape. This role is essential in ensuring accurate financial processing, maintaining operational efficiency, and providing hands-on support to both finance and management teams. The successful candidate will be highly organised, proactive, and comfortable working within a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.

The Finance Administrator will be responsible for maintaining financial controls, managing documentation, and supporting daily operational tasks that ensure the smooth running of the property. This role requires someone with strong administrative capability, numerical accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines. Confidentiality and professionalism are key, as the position involves handling sensitive financial information on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and process purchase orders in accordance with internal procedures
  • Collate, verify, and submit payment requests for approval
  • Maintain daily cash management and revenue spreadsheets
  • Conduct End of Day checks to ensure revenue accuracy
  • Update and manage daily and monthly finance workbooks
  • Distribute proof of payments to internal and external stakeholders
  • Scan, upload, and manage invoices using digital document systems
  • Maintain organised physical and electronic filing systems
  • Print stock count sheets and capture stock take results
  • Compile and update inventory workbooks monthly
  • Provide general financial and administrative support to property teams

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 / Matric qualification
  • Minimum 1 year administrative or accounting experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
  • Experience with digital document management platforms
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Salary: Market Related
