Job Description
Position Summary
Responsible for providing support for operational activities in accordance with departmental policies, procedures, and standards to achieve established production schedules and desired quality levels in a safe manner.
Organizational Relationship:
This position will report to the department Supervisor.
Key Accountabilities
- Support the activities and personnel engaged in manufacturing of products within their assigned department and shift.
- Identify inefficiencies in the production process and work with the department supervisor to overcome and improve them
- Communicate and collaborate with various departments across campus to meet production needs
- Interpret, apply, and/or consistently enforce all company policies, programs, rules, regulations, and safety rules.
- Help the team achieve departmental goals for safety, quality, and productivity.
- Promote clean, safe work areas throughout the plant by continuously checking for hazardous conditions.
- Update communication boards and manage delinquent/backorder lists as needed
- Fill in for open positions as required
- All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Strong analytical, problem solving, delegation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Computer skills required; mechanical aptitude is a plus.
- Highly motivated with a strong focus on quality and safety.
- Must have strong attendance record and be seen as reliable
