Purchasing Manager

What you'll be doing;

• Develop and implement effective purchasing policies and procedures to optimize costs, quality, and delivery times.
• Negotiate favorable terms with suppliers, including pricing, lead times, and quality standards.
• Manage and coordinate the procurement of raw materials, components, and equipment to meet production requirements.
• Analyze market trends, supplier performance, and pricing to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement activities with business objectives.
• Monitor inventory level, identify and address any supply chain issues, and implement strategies to minimize disruptions.
• Provide regular reports and recommendations to management on procurement activities and performance.
• Mentor and develop the procurement team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  
  

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement management role preferably in the manufacturing industry.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
• Proficient in the use of procurement software, ERP systems and date analysis tools.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across all levels of the organisation.
• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or a relevant field.
• Amenable to work in Malinta, Valenzuela City.
