Location : Vadodara

Main Responsibilities

• Project management and process-oriented execution of technical customer projects
• Handling of revamp projects, complex lump-sum or turnkey contracts and packages
• Support of the Sales Manager during the offering phase of complex quotations
• Completion of project in time, quality with targeted profitability
• Coordination with all the stake holder (CAM, FSR, TSC, CEM, CEP, CO) for the successful time bond execution of the project
• Responsibility for quality, time and cost aspects of the allocated projects
• Responsible for design and function of the deliverables in accordance with specifications
• Technical direction and coordination of internal competence centers and external suppliers with customer requirements
• Prepare Project schedule & generate Monthly project progress reports.
• Understands the critical bottle necks & resolve with the support of stake holders
• Risk Management- Proactively identifies risks and addresses countermeasures. Frequently follows up on the identified risks and its countermeasures
• Ensure efficient project handling in conformity with customer requirements and preparation of contractually specified documents
• Preparation of technical evaluation of offers, technical contact and expediting of suppliers in collaboration with QA and Procurement.
• Consistent standardization and permanent optimizing of engineering hours and accessories costs
• Contract & Claim Management- Proactively identifies and makes use of opportunities for upselling. Defends BC from claims
• Change order management and cash flow controlling
• Expediting -The expediting process starts with the placement of orders to suppliers until delivery
• Site Activities - For site activities out of the project the PM is the responsible person till acceptance by customer.
• Facilitate recovery management.
• Ensure adherence to deployed BC Quality system.
  
  

Education/ Experience / Languages

• Bachelor degree in either mechanical engineering or process engineering, or similar education
• At least 7-10 years’ experience in similar business
• In addition a MBA or PMP certification would be an advantage
• Knowledge of rotating equipment and/or related processes would be beneficial
• Fluent in English, written, verbal and understanding
• Knowledge of MS Projects, SAP
• Monitoring and Control; Project Control and Progress Reporting (internal / external)
