Location: Remote within the USA, working Pacific hours 8AM - 5PM

Travel: Domestic travel within the USA as needed

ALTEN Technology is seeking a motivated Business Analyst to support Warehouse Management System (WMS) implementations on behalf of a growing logistics technology client. This is a high-accountability role requiring someone who thrives under pressure, communicates confidently across IT and business stakeholders, and is eager to grow into a subject matter expert.

This is a remote position requiring alignment to PST business hours (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST). The role does not require prior WMS or logistics experience, but a genuine interest in the space is a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Serve as the primary liaison between client IT teams and business stakeholders, managing expectations and escalating issues appropriately
• Understand, document, and triage system issues; develop resolution plans aligned with WMS platform standards
• Manage client relationships under pressure, maintaining professionalism and a solutions-oriented approach
• Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications and vice versa
• Participate in UAT cycles, configuration validation, and go-live support activities
• Track project progress and communicate status updates to internal and client stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in a Business Analyst or Technical Analyst role
• Demonstrated ability to perform under high-pressure, time-sensitive conditions while remaining goal-focused
• Strong communication skills; able to present confidently to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Hands-on, self-directed work style with a bias toward execution over theory
• Familiarity with both IT concepts and business operations (dual fluency preferred)
• Professional maturity, proactive attitude, and a strong sense of ownership
• Pacific timezone availability required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exposure to supply chain, logistics, or distribution operations
• Experience with SQL, Power BI, or similar analytical tools
• Familiarity with WMS platforms (Manhattan Active, Blue Yonder, Softeon, SAP, or similar)
• Experience with UAT methodology and regression testing
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus

Salary Range:  

• $80,000 - $90,000
• The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience
