2. About the Opportunity:


The Chief of Staff serves as a strategic partner and multiplier for the CEO and COO, ensuring clarity, alignment, and disciplined execution as the organization scales. This leadership role spans growth, strategy, finance, operations, and culture, translating vision into action and facilitating cross-organizational collaboration. The position is critical for driving the company’s priorities, supporting leadership effectiveness, and shaping the growth of a mission-driven healthcare program.


3. Responsibilities:


• Translate CEO vision into actionable plans and support leadership in planning and execution

• Lead organizational goal-setting and alignment processes

• Identify gaps, risks, and redundancies; develop solutions

• Monitor performance metrics and ensure disciplined execution

• Represent CEO and COO in key meetings internally and externally

• Facilitate communication across executive team, board, and staff

• Prepare board and market-facing materials with data and storytelling

• Manage sensitive information and communications with discretion

• Support preparation for CEO and COO external engagements

• Foster alignment and influence across teams without formal authority

• Assist with executive hiring, onboarding, and leadership development

• Implement systems to enhance decision-making and accountability

• Optimize leadership focus on high-value activities

• Extend leadership influence where most needed


4. Requirements:


• 6+ years of professional experience, including 3+ years in people leadership within a startup, preferably in growth, operations, or strategy

• Proven track record leading cross-functional initiatives in fast-paced settings

• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

• Trusted advisor qualities, including discretion, judgment, and empathy

• Commitment to the organization’s mission to improve health outcomes


Nice to have:

• Master of Business Administration degree


5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:


• The starting pay range for this position is $140,000 - $160,000; base pay offered may vary based on factors including market location, knowledge, skills, and experience

• Total compensation may include equity grants and a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits such as 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits including vacation, sick time, and parental leave


6. Benefits & Perks:
