La persona en este puesto es responsable de alcanzar los objetivos de ventas y margen para las cuentas asignadas. Supervisa todos los aspectos de la cartera de cuentas y establece relaciones comerciales estratégicas para maximizar el potencial de crecimiento. El/la Representante de Ventas se enfoca en incrementar las ventas y la participación de mercado, manteniendo un fuerte énfasis en los márgenes.
FUNCIONES Y RESPONSABILIDADES ESENCIALES
Identificar oportunidades de venta y darles seguimiento de acuerdo con las cuotas establecidas.
Administrar el desempeño de ventas y margen de las cuentas asignadas.
Co-administrar la fijación de precios de las cuentas asignadas.
Colaborar con las partes interesadas clave para asegurar la disponibilidad adecuada de producto y evitar exceso de inventario.
Ejecutar iniciativas específicas para mejorar ventas y márgenes.
Perfilar cuentas potenciales nuevas.
Elaborar el pronóstico anual, ventas y márgenes de las cuentas asignadas.
Coordinarse con gerentes de departamento para la resolución de problemas y la mejora continua.
Visitar instalaciones de clientes y asistir a ferias comerciales cuando se requiera.
Desarrollar un conocimiento amplio, detallado y profundo de cada cuenta asignada.
Monitorear las cuentas, analizar ventas perdidas y tomar acciones correctivas de manera proactiva.
Interactuar a un nivel avanzado con el área de servicio al cliente para asegurar los niveles de servicio.
Proporcionar retroalimentación de la base de clientes a la gerencia y comunicar áreas que requieran atención, como niveles de servicio, información relevante de la industria, presiones del mercado, entre otras.
Desarrollar un conocimiento profundo de la industria, el mercado, la línea de productos y la competencia.
Desarrollar un nivel competente de comprensión y uso de todos los programas de cómputo necesarios para desempeñar las funciones del puesto.
Asegurar la pronta resolución de inquietudes del cliente relacionadas con precios, entregas, calidad y garantías.
Promover un ambiente de trabajo colaborativo, fomentando la comunicación efectiva y las iniciativas de capacitación cruzada para mejorar la productividad del equipo, su versatilidad y el desarrollo de habilidades.
Asumir responsabilidades y tareas adicionales según lo indique la gerencia.

Position Summary
The individual in this role is responsible for achieving sales and margin targets for assigned accounts. They oversee all aspects of the account base and establish strategic business relationships to maximize growth potential. The Sales Representative focuses on increasing sales and market share while maintaining a strong emphasis on margins.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Identify sales opportunities and chase them according to established quotas.
Manage sales and margin performance for assigned accounts
Co-manage pricing for assigned accounts
Work with key stakeholders to ensure proper product availability and avoid excess inventory
Complete targeted sales and margin initiatives
Profile potential new accounts
Complete yearly forecast, sales and margins for assigned accounts
Interface with department managers for problem resolution and continuous improvement
Visit customer facilities and attend trade shows when required
Develop an extensive, detailed and thorough working knowledge of each assigned account
Monitors accounts, analyzes lost sales and takes proactive remedial actions
Interface at an advanced level with customer service to ensure service levels
Provide feedback from customer base to management and communicate areas in need of attention, such as service levels, pertinent industry information, market pressures, and others
Develop a thorough in-depth knowledge of the industry, market place, product line and competition
Develop a competent level of understanding and use of all computer programs necessary to perform job duties
Ensures the prompt resolution of customer concerns regarding pricing, deliveries, quality, and warranties
Promote a collaborative work environment, encouraging effective communication and cross-training initiatives to enhance team productivity, versatility, and skill development
Undertakes additional responsibilities and tasks as directed by management
Requirements
REQUISITOS (Educación, experiencia y habilidades requeridas)
Licenciatura en Administración de Empresas, Gestión de Ventas o un campo relacionado.
Mínimo 5 años de experiencia en ventas, preferentemente en el mercado de autopartes (aftermarket automotriz).
Dominio en gestión de proyectos, planeación y organización, con disciplina para completar tareas en tiempo y forma, utilizando habilidades efectivas de administración del tiempo.
Capacidad para diseñar presentaciones para clientes y presentar reportes, análisis y resultados.
Habilidades efectivas de comunicación verbal y escrita, con capacidad para dirigirse a grupos de clientes y/o colaboradores.
Capacidad para generar soluciones creativas para resolver retos y conflictos complejos, con actitud proactiva.
Demuestra un alto nivel de precisión y atención al detalle en los entregables.
Dominio de aplicaciones de Microsoft Office como Excel, Word y Outlook.
Disponibilidad para viajar hasta el 75% del tiempo, incluyendo estancias nocturnas y fines de semana.
Bachelors degree in business administration, sales management, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of sales experience preferably automotive aftermarket
Proficiency in project management, planning, and organizing with diligence in completing tasks in a timely manner, utilizing effective time management skills
Capacity to design presentations for customers, present reports, analysis, and results
Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to address groups of customers and/or employees
Shows the capacity to generate creative solutions to solve complex challenges and conflicts with a can-do attitude
Demonstrates a high level of accuracy and thoroughness in deliverables
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, and Outlook
Availability to travel up to 75% of the time, including overnight stays and weekends
