Job Description

The Finance Officer will manage the Finance Department of one business unit within the region, support branch and functional group operations, present analyses of financial performances and resource management versus budget of the branch, provide inputs, financial reports, financial analyses and recommendations to Operations, validate proper compliance to internal controls and LGU/regulatory requirements, guide direct reports’ workflow and boost employee performances, with the objective of ensuring organization’s profitability and of promoting business value propositions of the company. 

Roles and Responsibilities:

Branch Finance Operation-

  • Ensure proper and timely documentations and recording of all vehicle and aftersales transactions to warrant accurate booking of revenues and complete collections of receivables.
  • Ensure that all Cash collections and disbursements, accountable forms are well accounted for, by ensuring daily cash counts.
  • Manage branch non-revenue related cost and expenses, CAPEX, insurance new business to ensure cost within budget
  • Implement finance and operational policies and procedures to establish proper controls in place
  • Coordinate with Accounting the regular Inventory Count and Asset Count for the branch

Financial Performance Management-

  • Present the Financial Statement to OpsCom on monthly basis, provide basic analysis of the performance of the branch
  • Monitor and review branch AR to ensure the improvement of receivables over 60 days past due vs LY

Risk Management & Compliance –

  • Review and verify that all transactions are within the required parameters to warrant the compliance to LGU, BIR and local regulating bodies.
  • Monitor the applications and renewals of required business permits, DTI and other LGU Certifications, payments of taxes and other compliances

Support to Functional Operations -

  • Provide profitability for negotiated vehicle transactions and financial reports to Branch Operations
  • Implement the proposed process improvement and system alignment within the branch for purpose of standardization and cost-efficient practices

People Management

  • Stimulate productivity, engagement, and performance
  • Create positive and supportive workplace environment within the team

Qualifications:

  • Any Finance Related Course
  • 4-5 years working experience in Branch Finance
  • Good knowledge on retail business, People Management, communication skills, leadership and administration skills. Business Acumen, Financial Analysis, Process Excellence, Analytic Reasoning, Attention to Details, Regulatory Compliance, Risk Management
