Moog Commercial Aircraft Group is seeking an Operations Project Manager - Original Equipment to lead the delivery of a new manufacturing facility in the Philippines. The Operations Project Manager - Original Equipment reports to the Sr Global Operations Transformation Manager and will be responsible for the high-level timeline, budget, and management of cross-functional workstream owners, as well as reporting out on project progress and escalation of identified issues. This role will work closely with both local and global stakeholders to ensure the facility meets Moog’s business, operational, and technical requirements.

The Operations Project Manager - Original Equipment will provide strong and effective facilitation, project management, and leadership in a team-based organization for the planning, organizing, and implementation of this manufacturing facility.

As Operations Project Manager, you will be responsible for the following…

  • Establishing the operations and manufacture of high value, critical Moog products within the new facility
  • Leading and managing all actions that lead to
    • establishment of EHS, machine repair, logistics, and other operational support functions within the new factory
  • Planning, organizing, and controlling resources/processes to achieve project objectives within scope, time, quality, and budget constraints.
  • Ensuring effective collaboration and coordination in creating and maintaining multiple project plans and workstreams that meet project objectives and deliverables.
  • Managing key elements of production in the prove out stage with some measurable contribution towards the achievement of short-term results with KPIs
To be considered for the Operations Project Manager will need the following…

  • Typically, a BS degree in the field of Engineering or equivalent course.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and leading highly complex projects in work transfers and/or facility expansions and use of project management tools.
  • 10+ Years experience in the function of Project Management, Program Management, Product Engineering, Methods, Manufacturing Engineering and/or Operations.
  • Prior management and/or leadership experience, with the ability to lead teams, as well as influence others outside of own job area to accept practices and approaches.
  • Effective facilitation, emotional intelligence, and team collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrated experience leading moderate to significant continuous improvement activities of processes, systems, or products to enhance performance of the area of responsibility is highly desired.
  • Travel requirements: 20%-30%
  • Role will be initially based in Baguio with a planned transition to Tarlac at a later stage
