Job Responsibilities

Inspects purchased parts and materials in conformance with specifications.

Examines items for defects in materials, work, and damage occurring in transit or due to handling.

Inspects and measures items for dimensional accuracy, fit, alignment, and functional operation according to prints, parts manuals, company standards, and other specifications.

Performs basic First Article Inspections (FAI) and conformity inspections.

Performs validation on the supplier submitted FAIR through measurement verification and documentation review.

Generates and completes FAI reports on component parts.

Submits a completed FAIR report to reviewer or approver.

Approves or rejects items, and records inspection and disposition information.

Gathers data for the preparation of technical and daily output reports. Prepares daily inspection results and reports.

Gathers data to prepare inspection and test plans, standards and acceptance criteria, and procedures or work instructions.

Adheres to participate in all EHS practices and standards across the site, including but not limited to proactive reporting of observed hazards and recommendations to ensure the safety and well-being of self and others.

Qualifications

Associate degree or other 2-year post high school training.

2 Years Of Relevant Experience Is Required.

MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint proficient.

Strong written and verbal communication and reasoning skills.

Must not had received any disciplinary action for one year.

Must not be under Performance Improvement Plan.

With at least a year in his/her current position.
