What You Will Do *
- Source and evaluate supplier quotations based on specifications, pricing, lead time, and minimum order quantities (MOQ).
- Set up and maintain approved supplier cost details and procurement information in the system.
- Coordinate vendor setup and ensure completion of required approvals and compliance with company standards.
- Classify and manage technical data in accordance with Global Trade compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and PDCM teams to ensure technical and regulatory requirements are met.
- Monitor supplier performance and assist in resolving supplier-related issues for assigned commodities.
- Maintain accurate product and supplier data in system, including buyer assignments and vendor information.
- Respond to internal inquiries from CSR, Supply Chain, Pricing, and other stakeholders regarding sourcing and supplier status.
- Support sourcing initiatives focused on cost optimization, risk reduction, and process improvements.
- Maintain procurement documentation and generate reports related to sourcing activities, supplier performance, and technical data classification.

Qualifications You Must Have *
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial or related field).
- Basic knowledge of Bill of Materials (BOM) and engineering drawing interpretation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience with Teamcenter, ERP systems (e.g., JD Edwards), or product/configuration management tools is an advantage.
- Exposure to supply chain, sourcing, procurement, or aviation/manufacturing environments is an advantage.
- Awareness of supplier quality, compliance requirements, and technical data handling is a plus.

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.
Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). If you live within a reasonable commute of an RTX site with other colleagues you interact with, your manager will discuss whether there is a degree of onsite presence associated with this role.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
Requires theoretical knowledge typically obtained through University Degree. Limited to some knowledge of RTX organization.
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and less than 2 years prior relevant experience.
Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
