Topic: Amorphous Oxide Coatings for Industrial Applications

The position focuses on the development of amorphous oxide coatings tailored for industrial applications, with an emphasis on advanced thin film deposition and materials characterization.

Position Overview

The successful candidate will contribute to cutting-edge research in the field of functional oxide coatings, exploring their synthesis, structure-property relationships, and performance in demanding environments. The work will be carried out in a multidisciplinary setting, combining materials science, physics, and chemistry.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and fabricate amorphous oxide coatings using vacuum-based thin film deposition techniques.
• Characterize the coatings using advanced materials analysis methods (e.g., XRD, SEM, TEM, XPS, nanoindentation).
• Collaborate with industrial partners to tailor coating properties for specific applications.
• Publish high-impact research and contribute to project reporting and dissemination.
  
  

• A doctoral degree (PhD) in Materials Science, Chemistry, or Physics.
• Proven experience in vacuum-based thin film deposition techniques and devices (e.g., sputtering, evaporation, PLD).
• Strong background in materials characterization techniques.
