Job Description
A highly strategic, market-facing "hunter" focused strictly on the largest global technology players (Google, Meta, AWS, etc.) and Data Center operators. This role is responsible for structuring massive, high-value data capacity deals, specifically International Private Line (IPL) IRUs, Dark Fiber, and MOFN. The core mandate is to lock in long-term revenue, utilize automated rate cards to execute complex deals swiftly, and ensure our network is the primary gateway for hyperscaler traffic entering and leaving the country.
Duties And Responsibilities
Full P&L & Yield Management: Owns the end-to-end revenue, cost, and margin targets for the Hyperscaler segment. Maximizes the Return on Asset for high-value inventory (e.g., fiber strands, spectrum blocks) by implementing pricing strategies that prioritize high-margin deals over simple volume.
Commercial Modeling & ROI Optimization: Develops sophisticated pricing frameworks for complex deal structures, including IRUs, long-term leases, and progressive billing models. Evaluates and defends the financial viability of "success-based" builds vs. "strategic builds" to ensure capital efficiency.
CapEx Justification & Governance: Leads the creation of rigorous Business Cases for network expansion (e.g., diverse fiber routes, new cable landing station backhauls) specific to Hyperscalers. Shepherds these high-value investment proposals through executive approval gates.
Product Definition & Demand Planning: Serves as the technical-commercial authority (Product SPOC) for MOFN, Spectrum Sharing, Dark Fiber, and ILA services. Translates market intelligence (e.g., new regional data center builds) into immediate infrastructure planning, translating technical requirements into deployable network products.
Strategic Partnerships & Roadmap: Defines the "Hyperscaler-Grade" network standards required to win business. Collaborates with the Wholesale Head to align the internal infrastructure roadmap with the 3-to-5 year expansion plans of the "Big 5" global Hyperscalers.
Requirements
3+ years of progressive experience in the Telecommunications, Tech Infrastructure, or Data Center industry.
2+ years specifically in Wholesale Connectivity, Carrier Relations, Submarine Cable capacity sales, or Strategic Product Management targeting Hyperscalers/OTTs.
Proven Track Record: Demonstrable experience in independently building complex business cases/ROI models, and structuring/negotiating multi-million-dollar infrastructure contracts (e.g., IRUs, Dark Fiber leases, Data Center interconnects).
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or Finance OR B.S. in Electronics & Communications Engineering (ECE), Telecommunications, or IT.
