We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented colleague to support the US Leave of Absence (LOA) Delivery Team during a maternity leave period.
This temporary opportunity is ideal for someone who is looking to expand their HR operational expertise, gain exposure to North America processes, and develop skills in a highly specialized, high‑impact area of HR Service Delivery.
You will join a dynamic team that manages LOA cases for US colleagues, working closely with the Regional HRS LOA.
Key Responsibilities
Case Management & Daily Operations
Process LOA cases in HR Cloud with accuracy and timeliness
Execute payroll‑impacting updates, including:
Assignment status changes
PTO adjustments
Pay-impacting corrections
Manage documentation, validations, and case notes.
Payroll Accuracy & Compliance
Ensure all updates are compliant with state and federal requirements
Support weekly/monthly reporting (e.g., Aflac reports, state notices)
Escalate complex or high‑risk cases to Regional Tier 2.
Process & Documentation Support
Maintain SOPs, trackers, and documentation in SharePoint following naming/versioning standards
Apply mailbox management best practices (rules, organisation, follow‑ups).
Cross‑Team Collaboration
Partner with Regional HRS LOA teams in daily operations
Participate in knowledge sharing, shadowing, and cross‑training activities
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
Essential Skills
Strong analytical and mathematical ability (critical for payroll‑related work)
Fluent English (verbal and written) to interact confidently with US colleagues
Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under pressure
Strong problem‑solving capabilities and good judgment on what to escalate
Ability to work with sensitive information and handle colleague cases professionally
Technical Requirements
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data validation)
Experience with HR Cloud (or ability to learn quickly).
Familiarity with ServiceCentral
Comfort working with SharePoint and structured documentation.
Preferred Experience
Knowledge of LOA, PTO, or payroll processes
Previous experience in HR operations, service delivery, or case management
