Job Description

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes and your employment would be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. This role will be part of the Global Services Finance team in the Invoice to Cash process area. The Global Services Finance organization provides best-in-class, cost-effective financial services, and compliance—in a J&J way—to our Operating Companies around the world.

ITC Cash Application Analyst – is responsible for processing customer receipts and adjustments in an accurate and timely manner for specific business sectors and countries serviced by GS Manila.

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to create a new publicly traded company. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 24 months, and it will be subject to legal requirements including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as required, and other customary conditions and approvals. It is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, this position may be conveyed with New Orthopaedics business. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to the successful candidate by New Orthopaedics at an appropriate time and would be subject to any necessary consultation processes.  

Key Responsibilities

• Processes and reconciles cash receipts, bank statement and remittance advice.
• Ensures that all incoming payments applied are balanced, free of discrepancies and conform to policies and procedures
• Works closely with Collections team for customer payment and claims reconciliation
• Prepares customers statement of account, requests for refunds and write-offs/write-ons when there are credits on the customers account
• Generates and reconciles closing reports
• Ensures service levels and targets are met as per Service Level Agreements.
• Ensures proper and timely escalation of issues so that they are resolved to meet internal and external expectations
• Identifies opportunities and participates in process improvement projects within the Cash Applications and AR reporting process
• Ensures all process documentations are current.
• Support internal or external audits as needed.
  
  

Qualifications

Education

• A minimum of a bachelor’s level degree or equivalent is required, preferably in accounting or finance.
• CPA, CMA, MBA and/or other financial certifications is preferred.
  
  

Required

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders. Foreign language capability (Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, Thai) is a plus
• Working knowledge of SAP is a plus
• Technology proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Excellent data entry and processing skills with an eye for detail and accuracy
• Ability to multitask and manage time and multiple deadlines
• Must possess ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Experience in shared services center of a multinational corporation desirable
  
  

Preferred

• Experience from BPO or shared services center of a multinational corporation and even local companies with relevant experience.
• 0 to 2 years in AR/Cash Applications role in BPO/shared Svc is preferred.
