GBS Standardization Subject Matter Expert (Temporary) Why does this role exist?

Responsibilities

The GBS Standardization Subject Matter Expert provides functional expertise and analysis by conducting a thorough analysis of current processes and drives the creation of Gold Standard processes, systems, channels, organizational responsibilities, controls, metrics, and KPIs. The role supports an integrated end‑to‑end process view and collaborates closely with IT, operational teams, and functional counterparts to deliver standardization outcomes. What will you do? In this role, you will:

• Deliver functional expertise by analyzing AS‑IS processes to provide insights for standardization
• Co‑create and develop TO‑BE standard processes, including systems, controls, metrics, and KPIs
• Identify process input and output dependencies to support an integrated end‑to‑end design
• Collaborate with IT to define and document system requirements
• Consult operational teams on KPIs, automation opportunities, and improvement suggestions prior to standard design
• Create comprehensive process documentation and document agreed deviations and exceptions
• Coordinate approvals of standard processes and exceptions with stakeholders
• Support the definition of standardization scope and roadmap
• Create training materials and support training delivery for new standards
• Participate in user acceptance testing, create test scripts, and report risks or issues
• Support data migration activities and contribute to change management initiatives
  
  

Who are we looking for?

• Experience in a relevant functional area within a GBS environment
• Project involvement or project management experience
• Fluency in English, written and spoken
• Strong understanding of functional processes and systems
• Strong organizational, communication and presentation skills
• Solid process knowledge and time management skills
• Project management skills are considered an asset
