Job Description

The Commodities Content Analyst is a strategic role responsible for handling business-as-usual (BAU) operations, resolving client queries, handling projects and driving key business outcomes. The position emphasizes delivering infrastructure improvements, process automation, task and customer management, and supporting DCC reduction initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring smooth management of the BAU activities without any errors.
  • Support high-impact projects, including audits and Time Series Improvement plans for Commodities pricing.
  • Collaborate with team manager and Seniors to implement operational improvements such as MOW and customer engagement strategies.
  • Provide support during incidents, data recovery efforts, and service desk operations, including handling Service Cloud cases and client
  • communications.
  • Coordinate testing, migrations, and upgrades affecting production environments, ensuring all change plans are approved and driven reliably.
  • Work closely with Business Analysts, Product Managers, and multi-functional teams to align on business goals and results.
  • Resolve simple client queries efficiently while Drive initiatives passionate about process simplification and innovation.
  • Implement specific projects as assigned by the manager, ensuring timely and high-quality outcomes.
  • Implement change control procedures, data operations standards, and compliance with current data policies.
  • Partner with team leaders and senior staff to identify and close skill gaps within the team.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s or MBA preferred.
  • Good understanding of DSS, and Elektron migrations.
  • Proficiency with tools such as NDA, DSS suite, and basic SQL.
  • The analyst is required to handle Commodities Content, including collaborating with internal collaborators and leading business-critical issues.
  • Solid grasp of Excel and other MS Office products.
  • Good understanding of Macros, VB, and Outlook.
  • Good interpersonal skills (Verbal and written). Awareness of Commodities and Energy markets.

Additional Information:

Prior knowledge of the Commodities data set is a strong advantage.
