As a Web Application Manager, you will lead the development of innovative software solutions that drive digital transformation and enhance business performance. Within our Software and Product Innovation practice, you will focus on designing, coding, and testing applications that revolutionize industries and deliver exceptional user experiences. As a Manager, you will motivate, develop, and inspire your team to deliver quality work, leveraging their unique strengths to meet client expectations. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center Manila, you will take ownership of projects, confirming their successful planning, budgeting, execution, and completion. You will analyze and identify the linkages and interactions between the component parts of an entire system, and effectively mentor others. Addressing conflicts or issues, you will engage in conversations with clients, team members, and other stakeholders, escalating where appropriate. You will uphold and reinforce professional and technical standards, the Firm's code of conduct, and independence requirements, contributing to the success of our Firm.

Responsibilities

• Leading the development and implementation of innovative software solutions to drive digital transformation
• Managing application development projects, including planning, budgeting, and execution
• Overseeing the design, coding, and testing of applications using programming languages such as C#.NET and JavaScript
• Guiding teams in the design, coding, and testing of web applications using programming languages such as Python and JavaScript
• Overseeing the integration of enterprise applications and confirming seamless functionality across systems
• Conducting code reviews and maintaining coding standards to enhance software quality
• Utilizing API management and microservices architecture to optimize application performance
• Collaborating with stakeholders to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Mentoring team members to develop their skills and encourage professional growth
• Addressing technical challenges and troubleshooting issues to maintain system reliability
• Promoting the adoption of continuous integration and delivery practices to streamline development processes
• Encouraging creativity and rapid experimentation to foster product innovation and improve user experiences
  
  

• At least a Bachelor's degree
• At least 7 to 11 years of experience
• Oral and written proficiency in English required
  
  

• Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Artificial Intelligence, Business Analytics, Computer and Data Engineering, Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems/Technology, Machine Learning, Management Information Systems, Software Engineering
• Demonstrating proficiency in API Management and Application Development
• Utilizing Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) methodologies
• Excelling in coaching and mentoring team members
• Leveraging analytical thinking for complex problem-solving
